Treasurer Brett StohsBrett Stohs is the Secretary and Treasurer of the Brown Mosten ICCC. Brett began coaching client counseling teams and administering local competitions at the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2017, and in connection with those efforts became involved in the ICCC starting in 2019. Brett led a multi-year effort to restructure the ICCC’s US-based nonprofit corporation to bring forward its corporate documents and procedures to reflect best practices.
Brett has a BA in Political Science and Mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a JD from Duke Law School, and an MPP from the Sanford Institute of Public Policy at Duke University. He practiced in M&A and corporate law for five years at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan (now Eversheds Sutherland) in Washington, D.C., followed by a year at Rembolt Ludtke LLP in Lincoln, NE. He joined the faculty at the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2012 to create the Weibling Entrepreneurship Clinic, the college’s first clinical program focusing on transactional law and practice. In addition to teaching in the clinic and leading Nebraska Law’s client counseling competition programs, he teaches courses focused on the development of solo and small law practices. |
