Sri Lanka
In Sri Lanka, the Client Consultation Competition is administered by the Moot Court Bench (MCB). As the Official National Facilitator, the MCB selects, trains, and assists with funding for students.
Selections are open for all law students in Sri Lanka. The initial selections would be held in November/December, and interested students would be required to send in their résumés and a 2-minute video, explaining why they would be a good fit for this competition. Interviews and selections would then be held. All information regarding the full selection process would be shared on the MCB’s website and social media pages in advance, together with rules and guidelines.
The best performing students would be selected to represent Sri Lanka, and would be trained by MCB coaches.
Sri Lanka’s National Representative is Mr. Shanaka Cooray, Attorney-at-Law, LL.M (London), MCIArb, who is himself an alumnus of the BM ICCC.
