Dublin 2019
The 2019 competition took take place in Dublin, Ireland from 3rd-6th April. Students from 20 countries took part in an challenging and exciting competition with theft as the law theme hosted by the Law Society of Ireland. The teams were from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, England & Wales, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Kenya, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and USA.
Over the first two days, each team undertook three interviews with teams from Brazil, England & Wales, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland and USA qualifying for the semi-finals. In the final round, the team of Katie Webb and Tatiana Deberry from Campbell Law School in Raleigh, North Carolina came out on top from the joint runners-ups, India and Indonesia. The programme included social events and concluded with the Awards Dinner at the Guinness Storehouse on Saturday evening. Our thanks to the Law Society of Ireland for a fantastic event! |
